Real wages quickly increased as a result of the America First policies of President Trump and conservative Members of Congress, and median household income reached the highest level in the history of our country, while poverty reached a record low. He will vote to stop the reckless Biden overspending, causing inflation and massive deficits, and restore economic stability to America and our dollar.

Fair Trade for the American Worker

Fair and reciprocal trade is essential for the prosperity of all nations. It is important to recognize that we cannot have free and open trade if some countries exploit the system at the expense of others. We need to replace decades of calamitous multinational trade blunders with fair and reciprocal trade that returns jobs, wealth, and manufacturing to America. Dan Cox will vote to make the United States no longer reliant upon other countries for energy, essential medical and national security goods.

Unleash Energy Dominance

Before the Biden administration reversed the Trump Energy Revolution, the United States had become the world’s largest producer of oil and natural gas, achieving energy independence and delivering historically low costs for oil, gas, diesel, and electricity to consumers and businesses. The current administrations energy policies have led to the enrichment of foreign adversaries abroad. Dan Cox will vote to once again unleash the production of domestic energy resources, reduce the soaring price of gasoline, diesel and natural gas, promote energy security for us and our friends around the world, eliminate the socialist Green New Deal and ensure the United States is never again at the mercy of a foreign supplier of energy.

Secure our Borders, Win the War on Drug Cartels, Stop Human Trafficking and Reclaim our National Sovereignty

The Biden administration has suspended immigration enforcement. The influx of illegal aliens crossing the border poses a threat to public safety, drains the treasury, and burdens schools and hospitals. The Biden administration’s policies have been criticized for creating a sanctuary for dangerous criminal aliens. Dan Cox will vote to restore the Remain in Mexico policy, end catch-and-release, eliminate asylum fraud, defend the right of States to close and protect their borders and fund the deportation of illegal aliens on Day One after I am sworn in. Dan Cox will support a merit-based immigration system that prioritizes American labor and values.

The Open Border is allowing the influx of deadly drugs, opioids, and fentanyl into the country, and is facilitating the largest child, sex and human trafficking industry in the world. Dan Cox will vote and fight to end this travesty and is the only candidate in the race who has passed Legislation to combat international sex trafficking during his time in the Maryland legislature, securing a unanimous Floor vote in its passage. Stop Crime and Restore Safety

Of highest priority is quickly restoring law and order and public safety in America. Dan Cox stands with the heroes of law enforcement. Joe Biden and the radical left politicians have defunded, defamed, and targeted for prosecution and loss of civil rights the brave officers and their police forces across America. Murders have spiked to all-time highs in Democrat-run cities and radical prosecutors and District Attorneys have given free rein to violent criminals who threaten our citizens. Dan Cox will vote to revitalize police departments and reclaim safety, dignity, and peace for law-abiding Americans. He will work to deliver record funding to hire and retrain police officers, strengthen qualified immunity and other protections for police officers, increase penalties for assaults on law enforcement, put violent offenders and career criminals behind bars, and surge federal prosecutors and the National Guard into high-crime communities.

Renew American Leadership, Restore Peace through Strength, and Reject Globalism

Dan Cox stands with President Reagan and President Trump’s “Peace through Strength” initiatives that kept America out of never-ending wars. Joe Biden has undermined our military readiness and surrendered our strength to the Taliban, enabling Iran and its proxy war with our ally Israel. Dan Cox will stand with President Trump to defend America against all threats, protect America against all dangers, and keep America out of unnecessary foreign wars. Dan will also vote to get Biden’s radical left ideology out of our military and rehire every patriot who was unjustly fired. Dan Cox will also vote to protect our people from the threat of nuclear weapons and hypersonic missiles, by supporting a state-of-the-art next-generation missile defense shield. Dan believes strongly that NATO must pay its fair share for Europe’s defense. Additionally, Dan Cox will vote to deny the World Health Organization treaty authority over the healthcare of Americans by demanding a rejection of the proposed “Pandemic Emergency” treaty. Dan stands in opposition to the globalist World Economic Forum’s goals of “owning nothing” and will vote to deny any central bank currency from passage.

Veterans First - Dan Cox Fights for Veterans

While Washington politicians poured precious American blood and treasure into misguided military adventures overseas, those who proudly wore our nation’s uniform were dying waiting for medical care at home. Dan Cox’s legislation to assist Maryland veterans with alternative care coverage in the Annapolis State House as Delegate passed unanimously after several years of labor under a veteran colleague’s bill. That bill as originally authored - which Dan championed as the “End 22-A-Day Act” which was endorsed by the Maryland House Veteran’s Caucus, helped secure additional funding for alternative healthcare, exercise programs, mental health services, and expanded access to suicide prevention resources. Dan Cox will fight to serve our veterans with better care and benefits as their sacrifice for our freedoms and deserve.

American Seniors and Working Families Deserve Healthcare that Works for Them

Dan Cox stands with Seniors in opposing changes to the Social Security and Medicare systems that would take away their vested rights and interests. Seniors should not be faced with changing goal posts, with retirement ages constantly being pushed older and older. Medicare must cover their healthcare and their prescriptions, and equality for their quality of life must be guaranteed in all healthcare and hospital situations. Dan Cox is the only candidate in this race who has sponsored legislation to do just that - to empower and protect Seniors in their healthcare equality. Dan has also voted for historic protections from spiking insulin and other life-saving drug costs, and gave a Floor speech to prevent the cutting off of the right to try experimental treatments of cancer for children and others who need to try last options to live. Dan Cox stand opposed to any legislation enabling insurance companies to incentivize death, and is the only candidate in this race who has helped stop assisted suicide from becoming law. American patients should be empowered greatly by the expanding healthcare choice, transparency, and affordability. Increased competition in the health insurance market and lowering drug prices is essential for all. Dan Cox will vote to stop any and all COVID mandates and restore medical freedom, end surprise medical billing, increase fairness through price transparency, and further reduce the cost of prescription drugs and health insurance premiums. We should will always protect Medicare, Social Security, and patients with pre-existing conditions.

Dan Cox is a Proven Champion of Parental Rights

No other candidate in this race has fought as tirelessly for parental rights as has Dan Cox. As Delegate, he fought to prevent government control over parent’s wise decisions over their children including education, healthcare, religious freedom, and opposing gender theory indoctrination. Dan voted and worked to expand charter schools and school choice for America’s children, including vouchers and tax credits. He fought to reopen schools during the lockdowns and ensure our kids received the education they are constitutionally promised here in Maryland. He voted to secure historic permanent funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities and has worked to protect free speech on college campuses. He has voted and worked against Critical Race Theory and gender ideology from being pushed on our children. Dan Cox will vote to reward states and school districts that abolish teacher tenure for grades K-12 and adopt Merit Pay, cut the number of school administrators. Dan’s Parental Rights Act was championed in bi-partisan manner in the Maryland Legislature and he is pleased that after this effort, the United States Congress adopted a Parental Bill of Rights largely mirroring his legislation and that of other states. Dan Cox will work to support and implement the direct election of school principals and school boards by parents.

Defend Constitutional Law and Liberty

As State Delegate Dan Cox fought for our First Amendment and Second Amendment liberties - including House Floor speeches (see below) and hours of Judiciary Committee testimony and questions defending these first liberties, as well as other provisions the Bill of Rights under attack, such as the Fourth Amendment and Fourteenth Amendment. He stood strong supporting President Donald J. Trump who appointed nearly 300 federal judges to interpret the Constitution as written and preserve the extraordinary vision of our founding fathers. Dan Cox stood unwaveringly behind President Trump’s nominations and the Senate’s confirmation of three strong Constitutionalists to the United States Supreme Court who will ensure the law is upheld equally, fairly and without political prejudice for all of our citizens. President Trump’s three appointees delivered the biggest win for life in a generation in overturning Roe v. Wade and expanded the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. As a Member of Congress, Dan Cox will continue to support qualified prosecutors, judges, and justices who believe in enforcing the law, not their own political agenda. He will also always defend your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, and uphold your religious liberty, including the Constitutional right to pray in public schools.

Free and Secure Elections

Dan Cox is committed to the honesty of our elections and the integrity of our Republic. He will vote and work to reform our election laws to require voter ID, paper ballots and hand-counting, and Election Day voting, so that we verify the identity and eligibility of all voters to ensure faith and confidence in all future elections. Dan Cox is the only candidate who has worked to pass a bold range of critical election integrity measures that include banning unsecure drop boxes and ballot harvesting, and has sponsored legislation requiring election ballot audits to be done prior to certification of candidates and secured in litigation that went to the Supreme Court of the United States a ruling that mandates Maryland election laws may not be suspended during elections. State and local officials cannot be permitted to make illegal and unconstitutional changes to election procedures without the required approvals by the state legislatures. Dan Cox has also worked to ban private money from pouring into local election offices.
